Epic day....
Dr. Cathcart (my Chiropractor) gave my business card to one of his patients so I could give her and her boyfriend a massage at their house. All I could think was, "Oh my lanta!", I was so nervous. I asked Devin drive me because I was so nervous! He waited 2 hours in the car. Isn't he the greatest! :) No worries he kept busy...he read his kindle and took naps...I'm lucky aren't I? Anyways....I was nervous and I kept saying, "I don't wanna do it"... "I'm gonna throw up." ... and "I'm having a heart attack." over and over again; I'm surprised Devin didn't punch me in the face; I was being so annoying. We got there a little early so we waited a few minutes; I didn't want to be too early so Devin suggested that we go get a Dr.Pepper to help me calm down a bit. It helped. Another reason why I love Dr. Pepper it keeps you awake and calms you down when you are nervous! We got back to the house and I shook/danced off my jitters went inside and did my thing. It went really well. I did everything I planned out in my head and then some. I had them write down comments of what they thought of the massage, giving me feedback for improvement, the best part is that they both said they loved it! It was amazing! I actually felt like a Massage Therapist. I did my job, and according to them I did it well. After that Devin and I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond to get us some more sheets then to Marshall's to get me a new dress for Cindy's wedding and our cruise. It was a good day! I feel really good about myself right now! I see more days like this coming my way! :)

Growing up is hard to do.....
Devin and I are growing up....I know it's 9 months into our marriage, but it had to happen sooner or later right? We didn't want to live with his parents on our one year anniversary so we went for it and got an apartment. I feel like we will be starting over again. We'll be moving into a new place, a new stake/ward, and making new friends! It's not big but it will be our own! It's scarey but we are really excited about it! YAYAY CHANGES!!

MARCH down the "isle"....
There are two VERY exciting things happening this March so it needs to get here pretty fast!
1. On March 5th Devin's sister, Cindy is getting married to Eric Tafoya! They got engaged on New Years eve..cute huh! :) They only dated for a year; however it felt way longer because I had a feeling they were going to get married pretty quick into their relationship. Also the fact that Eric is a butt, so he would tease me all the time about it. So, I was extremely excited when I found out. I think I was more excited than anyone else in the family. She's the one of the last Bryce's to get married so we are super excited/happy for her!

2. On March 6th to the 12th let me just say....CRUISE BABY!!! Devin and I are going on a cruise with our best friends The Weeks to Cabo San Lucas! We are leaving right after the wedding, and Cindy is kind of jealous because we are going and she's not. This is our first cruise and we are SUPER SUPER excited! First time going on a cruise + The Weeks = Extremely fun!

ITS SO FLUFFY!!!
This Christmas was pretty much the best Christmas ever!
Not only was it the first Christmas with my hubby, but I got everything I wanted, we both did! I know, I sound like a little kid, but I haven't had a Christmas like this since I was eleven so I was really excited. Devin said I was like a little girl being so excited about every gift I opened. Christmas Eve was spent with Bryce's, we had breakfast together at brother-in-law's house. Afterwards we headed across the street to the Bryce's where we opened the presents that we all got each other, and more importantly what Sheri got us! Then Christmas day we went over to my Dad's house to open more presents and play with the Kinect. Both days were amazing! We love our families.
Some exciting gifts we got:
I got some footy pajamas and Dr. Pepper salt and pepper shakers from Sheri and Devin gave me a 32" TV.
Devin got an Amazon Kindle from me, a little helicopter from my brother-in-law John, (Worst gift ever....for me its annoyingly loud), and some fireworks from his dad.
Oh, and I got one of the funniest movies in the world, "Despicable Me", which was very exciting, I LOVE that movie!
I don't think this Christmas wouldn't have been so special without our wonderful familes! I definitely married into a good one. We are so grateful for what we have and can't ask for anything better!

Oh Christmas tree.....
So I was kinda bummed for this Christmas because I wouldn't have my own christmas tree to decorate. It's my absolute favorite part of Christmas....I love it! It's not Chistmas with out decorating a Christmas tree!! So, Devin being the fantastic hubby he is came home with a tiny Christmas tree to put in our tiny room. I almost cried....I was so excited! We got some lights, put on some old ornaments that I got when my family went through some old things, and put Princess Tiana as our tree topper! Yes......that's right I have a black princess as my tree topper! She's really an ornament that my mother-in-law gave me, but she over powered the tiny tree so we put her on top! Then we put some gifts that we are giving to our family, and now it really feels like Christmas... :) It was a great surprise......I love my husband, and now I am SUPER excited for Christmas to come!

Boots on....
So this Thanksgiving Devin and I were lucky enough to have two. One with my family and one with his family; which I was super excited about because being married you usually have to choose what family you go to for what holiday. So I was ecstatic to spend Thanksgiving with both families. We spent Thanksgiving day with his family, and Saturday we went to Flagstaff for my family Thanksgiving dinner.
On Thanksgiving we had our turkey dinner in the back yard. It wasn't too cold; I only had to wear a light sweater....always good! :) Since we live with Devin's parents, we didn't have to do much. We were ask to make mashed potatoes, and then I was asked to make my famous banana cream pie. Honestly....it's nothing really special just some vanilla or banana pudding, bananas, and a graham cracker crust. One sugar free for Devin's sister Cindy and a regular one for everyone else. Even though they taste exactly the same, but some of the Bryce's are little spectacle about it and a little picky! :) Afterward we played with our kinect system that Devin bought for his birthday. Everybody was playing having a good time! Even Grandpa Bryce who is in his 80's played!
Then for my family Thanksgiving we went up to flagstaff for the weekend, and had it at my sister Mariah's house. We drove up there on Friday, and we went home on Sunday. We stayed at my brother Jamon's tiny little dorm room with his cute wife Kristen and adorable little boy Keegan. Thanks for squeezing us in by the way we definitely appreciated it! So it was really a weekend of Thanksgiving for the Smith's. It was SO MUCH fun! I think it brought little closer. We hadn't that much time together with just the Smiths in a very long time. We watched some old home videos that my dad brought bringing back so many memories about my mom and little things we used to have and do.That was one of my favorite parts...Seeing my mom again! The dinner itself was amazing. There was no little kiddies running around, or screaming; they were all taking naps it was just the adults.....AMAZING! oh and the food was delish....We brought the Kinect; which was a big hit! We were the coolest ones there! I danced with my sister pretty much all weekend it was great! :D While we were there it was pretty cold and it snowed on Sunday....So I got to wear my boots! I have one pair of boots that i love oh so much, and since I live in Phoenix I have no need to wear them. I was SO excited.....I call them my pocahontas boots...they look like something the she would wear. They are so comfy and so warm....It made me want to get some more pairs but sadly I have no need for them....It doesn't get that cold here. Wearing my pocahontas boots made the weekend that much better! Definitely made some good memories this Thanksgiving! :)

Halloween fun!
This year wasn't too exciting, but we still had fun. On Saturday we went to a trunk-r-treat. We went as my mom and Devin was struck by lightening. Sheri, his mom, was in charge of it so we helped her out alittle bit and some laughed with friends. Then on Sunday we just hung out at our house carving pumpkins with his family. I am very proud of my pumpkin...I did Princess and the Frog! It's pretty much amazing!
We Handed out candy to the cute little kiddies! Eventually handing out candy got a little boring, so my brother-in-law Boston had this funny idea of having some one get inside of the outside blow up decorations and move around in it. Me, being the smallest I was choosen. So I got in and it was fun movin around and the family laughing and having a good time. She had two so they cut a bigger hole in it, and Boston got in the other one. We faught with each other, and talked to the kiddies. We were the entertainment for everyone. It's a something that I don't think any one will forget. I'm glad was part of it. Fun times!
